Catherine Rayner

A bilingual story book with the full story in both Panjabi and English.

Augustus the tiger was sad and had lost his smile. So he did a HUGE tigery stretch, and set off to find it on a journey that took him all over the world through dense jungles, arid deserts, and deep oceans.. He passed shiny insects, birds, mountains, fish and got caught up in a rainstorm. By the time his journey finally came to an end, Augustus had realised that he will never be without his smile again.

This is a remarkable story that celebrates the beauty of the world.

This is a good quality book with beautiful artistic pictures in. My husband who speaks Punjabi was pleased with the translations and we are hoping our little girl will enjoy the story in both languages as she begins to read.
