Arabic Small Wonders gives learners of Arabic the joy of reading at an early stage. The series is suitable for in-class and independent learners of all ages. The books combine carefully controlled vocabulary and grammar, simplified to suit the level of the learner, with informative and enjoyable content. All the books are beautifully illustrated to help provide context and visual stimulation and also provide fascinating cultural and historical facts. The text is all originally composed in simplified Modern Standard Arabic.

This pack contains one copy of each of the six readers in the complete set:

• Level One (For beginning readers)
  These books have a vocabulary of 150 core words. They are written in simple sentences and the use of verbs and plurals is carefully controlled.

• Level Two (For advanced beginners)

  These books have a vocabulary of 400 words. Simple present/past verbs introduced, together with common plural patterns.

  • The Eye
  • Bees
• Level Three (For intermediate learners)

  These books have a vocabulary of 800 words and include more sophisticated concepts and language. Further commonly-used structures are introduced and there is an increased emphasis on information.

  • The Hummingbird
  • Dates

These books are full colour readers, each with a glossary, comprehension questions and notes. Links are provided in the books to the Arabic Small Wonders website, which gives free access to further resources including printable worksheets and audio tracks.
